In September 1993, there was a group of people in a little church building in Anaheim, on La Palma Street. These people were not sure what to do or how to do it, but they kept showing up on Sunday for fellowship and then again on Thursday evenings for Bible Study. These people trusted in the Lord to show them the way.
.
The little church was a rental and after about one and a half years the building was sold and New Wine Church had to move.
There was a place in Fullerton on Brookhurst Road, the Brookhurst Baptist Church. They had a grand location, a great building, and needed financial help. They would allow us to rent the biggest part of the facility, and this worked out great.
2 or 3 years later, the Baptist group was willing to sell the church property including a 5 bedroom home next door to us and God made a way for this to take place.

What a miracle! That's a
story all on its' own! After five years of paying 2 loans, one for the down
payment and one for the property, we were able to refinance and now pay on 1
loan only.
The five bedroom home is
now a Women's Home and the small rooms (formerly classrooms) upstairs, over the
big sanctuary, are rooms for the Men's Home. Many lives of women and men have
been changed, marriages restored, families coming back together.
The story of New Wine Church is really a miracle and the miracle is still going strong. The challenges associated with this ministry are many and the stories that could be told are still going on, but the fact that God's hand is on us and is using us inspite of ourselves is the living proof - GOD IS IN CONTROL - Jesus sits on His right hand and itercedes for us every day. Now 16 years later we're doing more Prison ministry than ever, 12 mens prisons and 1 women's prison, corresponding with over 2500 men and women. We minster at the senior citizen centers and help people as much as we possibly can.
This is just a brief summary of our church history, the many miracles, too many to mention here,
COME AND SEE US, SEE THE
MIRACLES, we would love to see you and share the joy!
God has been so good
it's hard to put into words, come see for yourself! God Bless
