The skaters’ ministry  purpose from the beginning was to tell kids in the neighborhood (boys and girls) about Jesus, and let them know that they can learn about JESUS while having fun doing what they enjoy - skating.

More than half the kids who participate in this ministry do not go to our church or any church at all. This is a place for them to skate, hear a Bible Study in a casual setting, make friends, and have free hot dogs and sodas.

“Sk8rs for Christ” is an ongoing weekly outreach of New Wine Church. They meet every Tuesday and Wednesday at 7pm behind the church at NWC Skate Park. This ministry is free to the kids and is not only supported by the church, but other financial sponsors as well. Even though there are several now who volunteer their time on a weekly basis, there is still a need for more volunteers.
