Marriage Counseling

From the beginning of our ministry, married couples needed someone to talk to about their struggles. In their early years, Pastor Bob & Sharon went through many struggles themselves, so they made themselves available for counseling. Because of their past and a restored marriage, they could encourage these couples with confidence, “With God all things are possible.” - Luke 1:37 - God gave them the vision to instruct couples, using God’s Word, on how they should conduct themselves towards each other, how they should raise their children, and not to give up. The prayer of this ministry is for a church full of strong marriages to be a light and a hope to marriages that are giving up. They have annual Retreats for couples with Bible teachings and testimonies, overnighters to strengthen marriages and minister to others along the way, and marriage fellowships to meet other couples. Our church has seen numerous marriages not give up, which has resulted in restored families. There are also men and women out of prison who are making it in spite of the odds against them, only because of Jesus. There are several couples in the church who do marriage counseling. None have a degree, but their counsel is from life’s experiences and the heart, using God’s Word and led by the Holy Spirit.
